Winter School ‘Strengthening Startup and Agribusiness Ecosystem through Advance Methods’ and Training Programme on “Processing technologies for utilization of rice by-products-A sustainable approach for income generation” inaugurated at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack

Winter School titled ‘Strengthening Startup and Agribusiness Ecosystem through Advance Methods’ organized by ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Cuttack during 15 February to 07 March 2023. This program was sponsored by Education Division, Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR). Fifteen participants including Assistant & Assoc. Professors, Scientists/KVK scientists from ICAR Institutes and State Agriculture Universities participated in this programme. Dr. B.N. Sadangi, Former Head, Social Science Division, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack was the chief guest of this inaugural function. Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack presided over the programme. Dr. G.A.K. Kumar Principal Scientist, is the Course Director who briefed about the programme. Dr. B. Mondal Principal Scientist & Head along with Dr. S. Paul Senior Scientist of SSD are the Course-Coordinators.
Another Training Programme on “Processing technologies for utilization of rice by-products-A sustainable approach for income generation” which is scheduled from 15 to 17 February 2023 also inaugurated. Twenty students from Gandhi Institute for Technology (GIFT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha have participated in the programme. Dr. Supriya Priyadarsani, Scientist, CPD was the Course Director and Dr. Prakash Jena, Senior Scientist, CPD, Dr. B. Mondal, Principal Scientist & Head Social Science Division are the Course Coordinators of the programme.
