Training Programme organized under E-Chasi Project

Training to Village Knowledge Centre Management Committee (VKCMC) for smooth operation of VKC using digital tools sponsored by the project ‘Enhancing resilience of small holders to climate change through sustainable intensification and digital driven knowledge dissemination (E-Chasi)’ was organized at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack on 23 January 2023. Dr. R. Rajkumar, Principal Scientist, MSSRF, Chennai delivered the lecture on role and responsibilities of village knowledge management committee for smooth functions of VKC and FPOs formation. Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack gave his remarks about the programme. Earlier, Dr. Rahul Tripathi welcomed all the dignitaries and also discussed the different points of MoU which will be signed after passing the resolution of Gramsabha. Discussion were also held for establishing the FPOs at Purushottampur. Dr. S.D. Mohapatra, Head, Crop Protection Division and Dr. B. Mondal, Head, Social Science Division were also present and provided their inputs. Seven VKC committee members from Ranajhali, Ganjam participated in this programme.
