“Special Campaign 3.0”
On the auspicious occasion of Birth Day of Father of the Nation – Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri, a special campaign 3.0 was organized at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack. Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack garlanded the statues of the great freedom fighters and recalled their supreme contribution to the liberation movement in India. Dr. S. Lenka, Chairman, Swachha Bharat Committee & Nodal Officer, Special Campaign 3.0 for institutionalizing Swachhata and minimizing pendency in Government offices from 2nd October to 31st October 2023 organized the event. Dr. M.J. Baig Head, Crop Physiology & Biochemistry and Chairman, Campus Development Committee; Dr. G.A.K. Kumar, Head, Social Science Division; Scientists and staff, Project staff, contractual workers including the Convener, members of the Institute Swachha Bharat Committee were present in this auspicious occasion. Soon after the garlanding event, the plantation drive was undertaken at the NRRI Sports Ground with planting of Terminalia sp. by the Director, Dr. A.K. Nayak and other staff of the Institute.
