Report of organization of “Special Campaign 4.0 for institutionalizing Swachhata and minimizing pendency in Government offices from 2nd October to 31st October, 2024” by ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack on 2.10.2024
On 2.10.2024, in the very first day (morning hours) of “Organization of Special Campaign 4.0 for institutionalizing Swachhata and minimizing pendency in Government offices from 2nd October to 31st October, 2024”, after garlanding of the statues of Mahatma Gandhiji and other eminent freedom fighters in the Reception Corner of the Institute by the Director of the Institute along with Heads of the Divisions; the staff members, Swachha Bharat Committee members and others attended the meeting in Dr. K. Ramiah Conference Hall under the Chairmanship of the Director. Dr. S. Lenka, Chairman, Swachh Bharat Committee & Nodal Officer, Special Campaign 4.0 described day to day activities to be conducted during organization of this important campaign. Director of the Institute Dr.A.K.Nayak thoroughly reviewed the “Preparatory phase” and directed to complete all the tasks in its “Implementation Phase”. He ordered to form “Swachhata Enforcement Squad Committee” whose responsibility will be to check the works done by the Swachha Bharat Committee, other concerned committees, every employee’s contribution to swachhata @ 2hours per every week etc. to apprise the competent authority about the status of swachhata maintenance in the Institute and its residential premises. The Director also instructed the Swachha Bharat Comittee workers, staff members and others to to take “swachhata drives” in the identified black spots (very dirty spots) in the Institute and residential premises. He also instructed to identify unused and non-functional items kept in different sites and to dispose with completion of official rule regulations. The Heads of Divisions, Administrative Officer, Swachha Committee Chairman, scientists and others gave valuable suggestions for successful organization of Special Campaign 4.0.
