ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack is Organising three days training programme on “Quality seed Production in Rice” under Tribal Sub Plan Component of the Institute. The training programme was inaugurated by Dr. A.K.Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI. Total 28 farmers (17 males, 11 women’s) from Bandasahi, Pitabari & Titrapanga villages of Phulbani, Kondhamal distict are undergoing this 3 days training programme. They will be trained on quality seed production, variety selection, seed health management and post-harvest processing. Apart from this, they will visit Institute Krishi Vigyan Kendra Santhapur to get the first-hand experience on paddy seed production under upland direct seeded condition.
