Induction and Orientation Programme for Newly Recruited Technician
The one-month induction and orientation programme for newly recruited Technicians (T-1) of Crop Science and NRM commenced at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack on 13 May 2024. Dr. S.D. Mohapatra, Head, Crop Protection Division and Course Director extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and participants, and outlined the importance of induction and orientation programme. Dr. S. Samantaray, Head, Crop Improvement Division and HRD, Nodal Officer offered inspiring words, setting a tone of encouragement and enlightenment. In his inaugural address, Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director of the institute underscored the timeless values of punctuality, discipline, hard work, and sincerity, elucidating how these attributes are foundational to achieving success in any role. He has briefed the newly recruited staff on the genesis of NRRI, its Past, Present and Future and highlighted the salient achievements of NRRI. This induction sets the stage for the technicians to imbibe the ethos of NRRI and contribute meaningfully to its ongoing endeavors. Dr. Md. Shahid, Dr. R.L. Verma, Dr. N.N. Jambhulkar and Dr. M.K. Lal are the Coordinators of this one-month programme.
