ICAR-Sponsored Summer School ‘Breeding Modernization to enhance substantial genetic Gain in Crop Plants’ is successfully completed at ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack
Summer School titled ‘Breeding modernization to enhance substantial genetic gain in crop plants’ organized by ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack during 09th to 29th January 2025. This program was sponsored by Education Division, Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR). Twenty-four participants including Assistant professors, Scientists from ICAR Institutes and State Agriculture Universities participated in this programme. Dr. AK Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack was the chief guest of this inaugural function and presided over the programme. Dr. Ramlakhan Verma, Senior Scientist, Crop Improvement Division, is the Course Director who briefed about the programme. Dr. S. Samantaray, principal Scientist and Head, Dr. JL Katara, Senior Scientist, Dr. Devanna, Senior Scientist and Dr. Parameswaran C, Senior Scientist of Crop Improvement Division are the Course-Coordinators.
