ICAR-NRRI Organizes Cleanliness Drive and Cultural Fest as Part of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2024’ Campaign
On 24th September 2024, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, conducted a cleanliness drive under the “Swachhata Hi Seva-2024” campaign, clearing a difficult spot near the NRRI Gate by removing overgrown grasses and herbs from a 200 sq. ft. area. The next day, in collaboration with NBPGR Base Centre, they organized a cultural fest in Bhadimula village to raise awareness about cleanliness, featuring a dance performance by students from CRRI Nodal High School. The event, applauded by local residents, emphasized the importance of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan through cultural engagement.
