ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack Signs MoA with PCI Pest Control Pvt. Ltd. and Ultima Search for the Production of Pheromone Traps and Lures 

In a significant step towards advancing sustainable pest management solutions, the ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack, has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with PCI Pest Control Pvt. Ltd. and Ultima Search for the production of pheromone traps and lures.
The agreement, formalized on February 14, 2025, marks a collaborative effort between ICAR-CRRI and industry partners to enhance the accessibility and efficiency of pheromone-based pest control solutions. These eco-friendly alternatives play a crucial role in integrated pest management (IPM) strategies, reducing the dependency on chemical pesticides and promoting sustainable rice cultivation.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from ICAR-CRRI, PCI Pest Control Pvt. Ltd., and Ultima Search, alongside esteemed scientists and officials who witnessed the momentous occasion. The partnership aims to facilitate large-scale production and distribution of pheromone traps and lures, ensuring their widespread adoption among farmers for better pest control and improved crop yields.
