Enhancing resilience in agriculture: collaborative initiatives of UCRRFP, Dehradun with ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack
A six-member delegate headed by Mrs. Neena Grewal, Project Director, UCRRFP, Watershed Management Directorate, Dehradun, Uttarakhand visited ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack on 19th March 2024. They briefed about the ongoing Uttarakhand Climate Responsive Rainfed Farming Project (UCRRFP) and the different climate smart agricultural practices to make the Uttarakhand agriculture climate resilient. They also discussed on the potential opportunities to include ICAR-NRRI as a consortium partner in the UCRRFP. The delegates visited the institute facilities like bio fertilizer production unit and different laboratories. Collection of greenhouse gases by close chamber method was also demonstrated to them.
