Dr. S. K. Chaudhari, Hon’ble Deputy Director General, (NRM) visited ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack
Dr. S. K. Chaudhari, Hon’ble Deputy Director General, Natural Resources Management (NRM), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi visited ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack on 23rd March 2024. He visited the institute farm, research laboratories, bio-fertilizer production unit and interacted with the scientists, and IARI-NRRI Hub students in presence of Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack and Dr. A . Sarangi, Director, ICAR-Indian Institute of Water Management, Bhubaneswar. He urged all the scientists and students to remain committed to excellence in their work. The challenges facing agriculture today are multifaceted, ranging from climate change and water scarcity to soil degradation and pest outbreaks. He also told that through innovative research, technological interventions and collaborative efforts we can address these challenges effectively. Dr. P. Bhattacharyya, Head, Crop Production Division was the coordinator of this programme.
