CRRI and KIIT-TBI Sign MoU to Boost Agri-Tech Innovation and Startups
On February 28, 2025, ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack, signed two Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with KIIT-Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI), Bhubaneswar, and Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation (BCKIC), Bhubaneswar Odisha, to collaborate on resource pooling for startups, intellectual property (IP) protection, technology commercialization, market expansion, and joint workshops and seminars. The agreement was signed by Dr. Amaresh Kumar Nayak, Director of CRRI, and Dr. Mrutyunjay Suar, CEO of KIIT-TBI and Chairperson of BCKIC, Bhubaneswar, marking a significant step towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in agricultural technology.
