Celebration of International Women’s Day by IARI-CRRI Cuttack Hub
IARI-CRRI Cuttack Hub NSS Unit as per the instruction from Regional Directorate of NSS, Bhubaneswar, CDN Section of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Directorate of NSS conducted designated activities like Women Walkathon, Fit India Yoga, Cycling for Women and Pledge to maintain health on 08.03.2025 and 09.03.2025 at ICAR-CRRI for commemorating International Women’s Day Celebration from 3rd to 9th March, 2025. Dr. AK Nayak, Director, ICAR-CRRI and Dr. Sanghamitra Samantaray, Academic Co-ordinator, IARI-CRRI Cuttack Hub has guided, supported and facilitated for the conduct of the activities. The students of B.Sc. (Agriculture), PG and Ph.D. students of various disciplines of IARI-CRRI Cuttack Hub has taken part in the activities. Dr. Sangeeta Mohanty, Senior Scientist of the institute enlightened about the importance of Yoga for fitness and tutored the session for the students. Mr. Annamalai M and Dr Keerthana U, Scientists of the institute has co-ordinated the Women Walkathon and Cycling for Women activities. The boys students of the hub has felicitated their fellow girl classmates with cake cutting and gifting them with the artwork of photo montage customised by them.
