Capacity Building Programme for farmers and farm women on “Scientific Production, Processing and Post-harvest Technologies in Rice” organized at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack
A three-days capacity building programme on “Scientific Production, Processing and Postharvest Technologies in Rice” has started at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack from 7 to 9 February 2024 for the farmers and farm women from Nashik District of Maharashtra. Altogether 11 farmers and farm women participated for the training programme, sponsored by State of Maharashtra Agribusiness and Rural Transformation (SMART), District Implementation Unit (DIU), Nashik, Maharashtra. The training aimed at strengthening the capacity of participants on various aspects of scientific rice cultivation, production, processing, post-harvest processing & value addition and entrepreneurial opportunities in rice sector. Dr. Sudipta Paul, Dr. N.N. Jambhulkar and Dr. B. Mondal were the Course Directors and Coordinators of this three-days training programme.
