Awareness and Demonstration of NRRI Biofertilizer Model in Odisha
Awareness cum demonstration of NRRI Biofertilizer Model for farming community of Odisha was organized at Maa Mati, Kothabada, in the Pipili block of Puri district, Odisha on 22 July 2024 under the DAFE-Odisha project “Production, Popularization and Supply of Quality Bioinoculants for Rice-based Cropping and Farming System of Odisha” (Bio-ପୋଷକ). Fifty farmers from five different FPOs, along with project staff, participated in the awareness-raising and hands-on demonstrations of the NRRI Biofertilizer Model, which incorporates soil sampling, NRRI-EndoN, Azolla, Tech Decomposer, Rhizobium, and Trichoderma. This programme was facilitated by I-Concept Initiatives, under the guidance of Dr. Upendra Kumar, Dr. P. Panneerselvam, Dr. A.K. Mukherjee, Dr. Md. Shahid and Dr. Dibyendu Chatterjee.
