Akshaya Tritiya Celebrated at ICAR-CRRI with Muthi Anukula Ceremony
On 30th April 2025, the ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (ICAR-CRRI), Cuttack joyfully celebrated Akshaya Tritiya, a festival symbolizing prosperity and new beginnings, by marking the commencement of the agricultural season. Dr. M.J. Baig, Director of ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack, along with the Heads of Divisions, Officer-in-Charge of the Farm, and the Farm Superintendent, performed the traditional Muthi Anukula ceremony by planting sacred rice seeds at the Institute farm. The event symbolized a meaningful blend of cultural heritage and scientific endeavour, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to agricultural progress and fostering unity within its community.
