A webinar organized on “Benefits and scope of Biofertilizer technology for rice-based cropping system’’
A webinar on “Benefits and Scope of Biofertilizer Technology for Rice-based Cropping System” was organized under the project-Bio-पोषक (EAP-416) of Crop Production Division on 29 April 2024. This program was inaugurated by Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, NRRI and Dr. Pratap Bhattacharyya, Head Crop Production Division. Fifty-seven participants comprising of graduates and entrepreneurs from Odisha have participated in the program. There were four sessions on i) Prospects of biofertilizers technology, ii) NRRI Tech Decomposer, iii) Use of Trichoderma in rice as bio stimulants and iv) Rice-based integrated farming system organised by scientists Dr. Upendra Kumar, Dr. Panneerselvam, Dr. A.K. Mukherjee and Dr. Annie Poonam, respectively. This program was moderated by Dr. Sai Krishna Repalli, Research Associate of the project and coordinated by Dr. Upendra Kumar, Senior Scientist & PI of the project.
