A Training Programme on Digital Tools through VKC

A programme of handing over of equipments to village knowledge centre (VKC) management committee and a training programme on digital tools through Village Knowledge Centre (VKC) was conducted at Rajualibindha, Arrnapalaa panchayat, Bhadrak block, Bhadrak district on 13th March 2024. The training programme was graced by Shri Malay Kumar Dwari, Joint Director, Agriculture, Government of Odisha; Shree Deepak Kumar Dash, Scheme Officer, OIIPCRA, DA & FW; Shree Narayan Upadhyaya, Chief District Agriculture Officer, Bhadrak. Shri Shreedhar Dash, District Agriculture Officer, Bhadrak and Shri Jayant Dinda, Block Agriculture Office and Sarpanch Pratinidhi Shri Sudhakar Mohalik were also present on the occasion. Scientists from ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, Dr. Rahul Trpathi and Dr. P.C. Jena highlighted the objectives of the VKC, Memorandum of Understanding for VKC, and integrated farming system followed by discussion. All the equipments (desktop, laptop, Tablet, printer, projector, voice amplifier, web camera, microscope, hard drive, ups and pen drive) were handed over to VKC management committee in the presence of all dignitaries and more than 125 farmers and representatives. The program was very successfully conducted in an anticipation to provide one stop solution in rice based cropping system and enhancing resilience by providing better services to farmers through Village Knowledge Centre.
