Techniques of Pesticide Application and Management of BPH 

A three days training programme was conducted on “Techniques of Pesticide Application and Management of BPH” from 11th to 13th September 2019 for 25 progressive farmers from Bargarh and Barapalli block which was sponsored by ATMA, Bargarh (Odisha). The training was organized at ICAR- NRRI, Cuttack under the supervision of Course director Dr. P C. Rath, Head Crop Protection Division and was coordinated by Dr. Prabhukarthikeyan S. R and Dr. Naveenkumar B. Patil. This training programme disseminated information about the right use of pesticide at right time and at right doses by using right techniques, to manage different insect pests, nematodes and diseases with special emphasis on BPH menace in Bargarh district. Dr. Padmini Swain, I/c. Director graced the valedictory function and distributed the Participation Certificates to the farmers.
