Visit of Her Excellency Ambassador of Norway to India, Royal Norwegian Embassy on 16th September, 2024 to RESILIENCE project sites at Badakusunpur, Tangi, Cuttack
Visit of Her Excellency Ambassador of Norway to India, Royal Norwegian Embassy, Honourable May-Elin Stener visited to the Resilience project site in Cuttack, Odisha on 16th September, 2024 along with the Scientists from NIBIO. They visited four clusters where different climate Resilient technologies( INM, IPM, DSR, Crop diversification, Water management practices, Agroforestry & income generating activities), Climate smart water management practices like Alternate Wetting & Drying, Drip irrigation and deep borewell facilities, Integrated pest management were demonstrated. A farmer interaction programme was organized & men and women farmers shared their experiences and how they have benefited from the RESILIENCE project by practicing various CSA technologies. She was very happy to interact with the farmers. After visiting the project sites they moved to visit Village Knowledge Centre (VKC) established at Krishi Vigyan Kengra (KVK), Santhapur, Cuttack. They also visited experimental fields and other facilities at NRRI.
