Demonstration of NRRI-liquid bio-fertilizers at Kusunpur, Cuttack
A Demonstration of liquid bio-fertilizer NRRI-EndoN along with NRRI-Tech Decomposer and Trichoderma was organized at Kusunpur village of Cuttack district on 07 August 2024 under the project entitled “Production, Popularization and Supply of Quality Bio-inoculants for Rice-based Cropping and Farming System of Odisha (Bio-ପୋଷକ)”. Coordinated by Dr. Biswajit Mondal, Dr. R.L. Verma, Dr. Dibyendu Chatterjee and Dr. Sai Krishna Repalli the programme showcased the benefits of eco-friendly bio-fertilizers in improving soil fertility and crop yield as alternatives to chemical fertilizers. A total of 89 farmers along with project staffs, participated, and NRRI bio-fertilizer kits, including NRRI-Endo N and the user manual were distributed for application in rice fields.
