Farmer’s Fair and Paddy Seed Distribution Programme in Gopalpur, Kantapada Block, Cuttack District
ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Cuttack District, organized a Farmer’s Fair and Paddy Seed Distribution Programme under the SCSP programme on 13 July 2024, in Gopalpur, Kantapada Block, Cuttack District. The event was graced by Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director of ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack; Mr. J. Mohapatra, DG, Rotary Club (Odisha state); Mr. Ashutosh Debata, President, Rotary Club of Cuttack Mid-town; and Mr. A.C. Das, Ex-DFO. Over 100 SC beneficiaries participated, and a total of 19.2 quintals of HYV paddy seeds released by NRRI, Cuttack namely Savitri, Sarala, Pooja, and CR Dhan 409 were distributed among the SC beneficiaries of Gopalpur, Kajalpur, Sirasundarpur, and Taradpoda. The programme was coordinated by Dr. S. Lenka, Principal Scientist, and Dr. G. Pandi G., Scientist from NRRI.
