Chronicles of Rice: NRRI’s Photo Point Initiative

The NRRI photo point developed to match with the modern desire for visual documentation and social sharing while also contributing to cultural preservation, and enhanced visitor experiences. This particular point will allow to engage with a broader audience and promote awareness about the importance of rice agriculture and environmental conservation. Through this initiative, NRRI not only contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage but also enhances visitor experiences by offering opportunities for immersive engagement with rice cultivation and research.
This point was inaugurated by Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Hon’ble Secretary, DARE and DG, ICAR through virtual mode and in the presence of Dr. R.C. Agrawal, DDG (Education), ICAR, New Delhi; Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, Dr. P.K. Roul, Vice Chancellor, OUAT, Bhubaneswar & Dr. S.K. Pradhan, ADG (FFC), ICAR, New Delhi during 79th Foundation Day and Dhan Diwas of ICAR-NRRI on 23 April, 2024.
