Advanced Training Programme on “Entrepreneurship Development in Millet Processing and Value Addition” organized

ICAR-NRRI successfully conducted an impactful 5-day Hands on Advanced Training Programme on “Entrepreneurship Development in Millet Processing and Value Addition” for entrepreneur from 15-20 February, 2024 under Agribusiness Incubation Centre. In the valedictory session Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all the participants who actively engaged in this journey. He continued by saying that as young entrepreneurs, to make the most of the information and abilities they had received from this training in order to further the millet industry as a whole as well as to shape their individual ventures. Your ability to embrace technology, think creatively, and adapt to changing market trends positions you as key players in the sustainable development of millet processing. Fourteen students from GIFT and SOA, Bhubaneswar enthusiastically participated in the event, which aimed to empower prospective entrepreneurs. They received Hand on training on millet based extruded products and millet based bakery products, ready to use millet based instant mixes and millet based confectionery products. Dr. M. Sivashankari, Scientist, Crop Production Division co-ordinated the programme.
