Training organized under E-CHASI Project
A training programme on “Smooth operation of Village Knowledge Centre (VKC) using digital tools” & “MOU between ICAR-NRRI and Village Knowledge Management Committee”, Rajualibindha, Bhadrak was organized on 3rd January, 2024 in Dr. K. Ramaiah Conference Hall, NRRI, Cuttack. Eighteen farmers from Rajualibindha village, Bhadrak participated in this training programme. Information to farmers was provided for using the digital tools and information technology for knowledge dissemination. Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, NRRI & PI (E-CHASI project) addressed the participants and emphasized the role of VKC for social upliftment. An MoU was signed between ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack and the Management Committee of Village Knowledge Centre, Rajualibindha, Bhadrak. Farmers were also informed about the different equipments like Desktop, Laptop, Printer etc. to be provided in the VKC, Rajualibindha. Dr. S.D. Mohapatra, Head, Crop Protection Division and Co-PI deliberated on proposed operation of Plant Clinic through VKC. Dr. B. Mondal, Principal Scientist and Co-PI discussed about the process of formation and registration of FPO. Dr. Rahul Tripathi, Senior Scientist & Co-PI coordinated the programme and Dr. P.C. Jena, Senior Scientist proposed a formal vote of thanks.
