Observation of Kisan Diwas on 23/12/2023 during organization of Swachhata Pakhwada-2023 (16-31 December, 2023) by ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack
As part of “Swachhata Pakhwada-2023 (16-31December, 2023)”, the Institute Swachh Bharat Committee in association with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Cuttack organized “Special Day-Kisan Diwas” on 23/12/2023 at 3.00 PM in the village Bhadimula, Bidyadharpur, Cuttack in which thirty farmers and farm women were present. Dr.S.Lenka, Chairman, Institute Swachh Bharat Committee; Dr.N.N.Jambhulkar, Nodal Officer, Swachhata Pakhwada-2023; Dr.Tusar Ranjan Sahoo, SMS (Hort.); Mr.S.K.Sahu, AAO & Member Secretary, Institute Swachh Committee delivered valuable remarks and instructed the presentees on maintenance of swachhata environment in their houses, village alongwith discussion on rice farming, horticultural crops raising, mushroom cultivation etc. After the meeting, a Swachhata rally was organized with cleaning of village approach road by the participating farmers, farm women, Swachh Committee members, outsourcing staff of the Institute.
