Workshop on the IARI-Cuttack-Hub Academic Programme
IARI-Cuttack-Hub Academic meeting was held on 6 June 2023 to discuss the modalities of handling classes of BSc, MSc, and PhD academic program at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack.Directors and Heads of various satellite Institutes (Institutes/Regional stations) attended the meeting. Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI briefed about the objectives of workshop and outlined a futuristic vision about the academic curriculum at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack. Dr. P. Bhattacharyya, Head, Crop Production Division presented the detail academic structure. The facilities, expertise available in the institutes, modalities of handling classes, and guidelines to be followed for starting BSc (Agriculture) course was discussed in detail. The importance of teaching and handling courses in improving the research of the scientists was highlighted by Directors and Heads of ICAR Regional stations. All the satellite institutes showed great interest to collaborate in the academic program as excellent facilities and expertise are available in ICAR institutes in Cuttack-Bhubaneswar region. At the end, vote of thanks offered by Dr. Parameswaran C, Member Secretary, Academic Committee.
