Report of Swachhata Campaign on 6th April, 2023 at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack
The ‘Jan Bhagidari’ program of the third G20 Education Working Group meeting has been launched in all districts of Odisha. Our institute is one of the Stand Alone (SI) institute among 25 institutes in Odisha state. In this context the institute organizing different activities from 1-22 April, 2023. As a part activity, the institute Swachha Bharat Committee in association with Campus Development Committee and Estate Management Section organized “Swachhata Campaign/Abhiyan” on 6-4-2023 as 3.00 p.m. In the Plantation site by the side of “Pooja Sarovar” of the institute. In this Swachhata Drive Director, Head of the Divisions, Senior Administrative Officer, Finance and Account Officer, scientists and other staff of the institute along with students, projects staff, contractual workers were actively involved. More than one hundred participants were engaged in the removal of grasses, herbs, and other undesired materials inside the plantation site. More than 1000 square feet area were cleaned and the debris was collected and kept in the selected site of disposal inside institute.
