Swachhata Pakhwada – 2022 at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack
As per the necessary order from Government of India and instruction from ICAR, New Delhi; ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack organized day to day multifaceted activities very systematically as per schedule of Swachhata Pakhwada- 2022 (from 16-31 December, 2022. On the inauguration day (on 16.12.2022), Dr. B.C. Patra, Director (I/c) administered “Swachhata Pledge” to all the staff members and others involved in Institute activities. During the period from 16-31 December, 2022, the Institute Swachha Bharat Committee with cooperation and coordination from all the Divisions/Sections/Units undertook 7 Swachhata (cleaning) drives; two Plantation drives; two competitions (essay and painting) among different categories of CRRI High School students; Celebration of “Special Day-Kishan Diwas” in Kanheipur village, Bidyadharpur, Cuttack; two “Awareness drives on non-use of Single Use Plastics”. In valedictory programme Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack delivered a valuable, inspiring talk on ‘Swachhata’ and distributed prizes to the selected students of CRRI High School, Cuttack on 30 December 2022.
