32nd Dr. Gopinath Sahu Memorial Lecture Organized
The 32nd Dr. Gopinath Sahu Memorial Lecture was organized on 13 February 2024 at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack by Association of Rice Research Workers in association with Dr. Gopinath Sahu Memorial Trust, Cuttack and ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack through hybrid mode. The event started with ceremonial lighting of lamp and floral tribute by the dignitaries present physically. Dr. Annie Poonam, Secretary, ARRW welcomed the guest and Dr. M.J. Baig, Vice-President, ARRW briefed about Dr. Gopinath Sahu and the memorial lecture. Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI addressed the gathering as chief guest and Dr. P.K. Agrawal, President, ARRW presided over the function. Dr. K.A. Molla, Scientist, ICAR-NRRI, introduced the speaker, Dr. Jan E Leach, University Distinguished Professor, Colorado State University who delivered the memorial lecture on “A Path to durable biotic and abiotic stress resistance in rice”. Dr. P. Sanghamitra, Treasurer, ARRW offered the vote of thanks.
