Training programme on Public Financial Management System organized
ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack has organised two days training programme on Public Financial Management System (PFMS) from 27-28, November, 2017 for the administrative personnel of ICAR institutes and other institutes. To make the administrative personnel of the organisation aware about the new changes and to resolve the problems faced by the participants while working in PFMS, the capacity buildingprogramme has been organized. The programme was attended by forty one participants of the ICAR institutes located at Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Ranchi and Port Blair and other than ICAR institutes like BCKV, West Bengal, CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow and CDB, Bhubaneswar. The programme was conducted with the help of in-house expertise and outside experts from the office of State Project Management Unit, PFMS, Government of India. In the training programme, the resource persons provided hands on training on Expenditure, Advance and Transfer (EAT) modules. Detailed deliberation was made on creation of vendors, user, approver, user manual, mapping of the scheme/agency. The creation of bill, approval of bill, generation of Print Payment Advice was made through live. The difficulties faced by the different users was discussed and resolved in practical mode on the spot.
Dr. H.Pathak, Director chaired the session and urged upon implementation of PFMS to the maximum extent. Shri K.C.Joshi, Chief Administrative Officer briefed about the institute and Shri B.K.Sahoo, Administrative Officer offered the vote of thanks. The programme was successfully co-ordinated by Mr. Sunil Kumar Das, Finance & Accounts Officer and facilitated by Shri S.K.Dash, AAO (Audit) of NRRI.
