Training Programme on Early Nursery Raising Technology Organized by KVK, Koderma Under RKVY Project
Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Koderma, organized a training programme cum Kisan Gosthi on February 20, 2025, at its Jainagar campus under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) Project (EAP-439) to raise awareness about early nursery raising technology in vegetable crops. The event was graced by Smt. Anju Devi, Block Pramukh, Jainagar, as the chief guest, along with Shri Niwas Kumar, Lead Development Manager (LDM), Koderma, who shared insights on banking schemes for farmers. Dr. A.K. Rai, Head, KVK, Koderma welcomed the guests and highlighted the project’s objectives. Experts, including Dr. Chanchila Kumari (SMS, Home Science) and Miss Nupur Choudhary, provided guidance on vegetable production and pest management. Dr. Bhoopendra Singh, PI, RKVY Project, coordinated the program and briefed participants about its activities. A total of 112 farmers and farmwomen attended, engaging in a field visit led by Shri Rupesh Ranjan, who explained early nursery raising techniques. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Chanchila Kumari.
