Training Programme on Rice Processing and Value Addition Conducted at ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack
A training programme on “Rice Processing and Value Addition” was organized at ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack, from March 26 to 28, 2025. The programme was sponsored by the Head, District Implementation Unit, SMART, Chandrapur, Maharashtra, and Rural Access Private Limited. A group of 25 farmers and one guide officer from Chandrapur, Maharashtra, participated in the training programme. Dr. M. Sivashankari served as the Course Director. The initiative aimed to enhance farmers’ knowledge and skills in rice processing techniques and value addition, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and improved livelihood opportunities. Certificates were distributed to all participants during the closing ceremony.
