ICAR-NRRI Cuttack Organizes ‘Swachhata Hi Sewa-2024’ with Focus on Health, Hygiene, and Social Welfare
ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, organized “Swachhata Hi Sewa-2024” on 28th and 29th September 2024, with the theme “Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskar Swachhata.” On 28th September, Dr. Amaresh Kumar Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI along with medical officer Dr. D.S. Acharya and Swachha Bharat Committee Chairman Dr. S. Lenka, distributed hand gloves to 22 sanitation workers and 10 gardeners, advising them to maintain cleanliness and health. On 29th September, the Swachha Bharat Committee raised awareness among workers about various social welfare schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the benefits of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), encouraging them to take advantage of these programmes.
