An ATMA sponsored four-day training programme inaugurated at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack
A four-day training programme on “Improved Paddy Production Technologies According to Changing Climate,” sponsored by ATMA, Darbhanga, Bihar, was inaugurated at the ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Cuttack. The event, chaired by Dr. A.K. Nayak, Director of ICAR-NRRI, welcomed 24 farmers and 1 Agricultural Officers from Darbhanga. Dr. Nayak highlighted the institute’s achievements in climate-resilient technologies, sustainable agricultural practices, and farmer outreach initiatives. Dr. G.A.K. Kumar, Head, SSD, extended a warm welcome to the participants, Dr. S. Paul, Senior Scientist, was the Course Director and Dr. B. Mondal, Principal Scientist and Dr. N.N. Jambhulkar, Senior Scientist, SSD were the Course Co-ordinators of the training programme. The programme, designed to enhance knowledge on climate-smart paddy cultivation, will conclude on the 9th of this month.
